Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up: files up to 50 MB, 10 a day from each network. A free Snip account takes files up to 100 MB and keeps them for good.

What happens to my file?

It is kept for a day so you can download the result, then deleted with everything made from it. Nobody sees it unless you share its link.

Can I convert from code or an AI assistant?

Yes. curl -T file.pdf https://snip.link answers with a short link; add .md to it for the Markdown. The REST API and the MCP server's drop_file tool do the same.

Can I give the Markdown to ChatGPT or Claude?
