Enter a name or a company.
How it works
What you type is not uploaded. The code you download holds your content and needs no service to work.
- 01
Fill in your details. Name, company and job title, mobile and work phone, email, website, address and a note. A name or a company is needed; add only the rest people will use.
- 02
Check the card. The text under the preview is the contact card exactly as a phone will read it.
- 03
Put it on a card or badge. Download an SVG or PDF for print. Test a printed copy at its real size with your phone before ordering a stack.
Good to know
Fewer fields scan easier
Every detail adds dots to the pattern. On a small business card, keep to the name, one phone, email and website.
Details change, codes do not
The card is inside the code, so new details need a new code. If yours change often, link to an online profile with a Snip short link you can point somewhere new later.
No app needed
Current iPhone and Android cameras read contact cards and offer to save them.
Questions
About Contact card QR codes.
The longer answers are in the static vs dynamic guide and the QR code FAQ.
What is a vCard QR code?
A QR code that holds a contact card in the vCard format phones use for contacts. Scanning it offers to save the person to your address book.
Will it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Both camera apps recognise a contact card and offer to add it. Test the code with your own phone before you print.
Can I update the contact details after printing?
Not on a static code, because the details are stored in it. Make a new code, or print a Snip short link to a page with your details and change where it points whenever you like.
Is my contact information uploaded?
No. The code is drawn in your browser, on your device, and nothing you type is sent to us.
