Center artwork Optional

PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG. Up to 5 MB.

Free to use. Your artwork stays in this browser.

Fill in the form and your code appears here.

How it works

What you type is not uploaded. The code you download holds your content and needs no service to work.

  1. 01

Enter the address. Where the email should go, such as a support or bookings inbox.

  2. 02

Fill in the subject and message. Optional. A subject like Table booking helps you sort the replies.

  3. 03

Print or share it. On a feedback card, a help desk sign or a product insert. A frame that says Email us says what it does.

Good to know

  • People still press send

Scanning opens a draft in the person's own mail app. Nothing is sent until they send it, and it comes from their own address.

  • Keep the message short

Every word adds dots to the pattern. A short subject and a line of text keep the code easy to scan.

  • Address change

The address is inside the code. If it might change, use a Snip short link instead and point it at a contact page.

Questions

About Email QR codes.

The longer answers are in the static vs dynamic guide and the QR code FAQ.

How does an email QR code work?

It holds a mailto link with the address and, if you add them, a subject and message. Scanning opens a new email in the phone's mail app, ready to send.

Can I fill in the subject and the message?

Yes, both. People can still edit them before they send.

Does it work on every phone?

It opens whichever mail app the phone uses for email links. If none is set up, the phone asks which app to use.

Is the address I type uploaded?

No. The code is drawn in your browser, on your device. Nothing you type is sent to us.
