2. Local storage
The site stores up to three values in your browser's local storage. theme remembers whether you chose light or dark. tool-handoff:v1 exists only between asking you to create an account and finishing what you started on the other side: it holds what you had typed, for at most an hour, and is deleted as soon as it is used. snip:claims holds the claim codes of links you made without an account, for up to 30 days, so signing up can add them to your account; it is cleared once they are added. None of these is sent anywhere except the claim codes, to add your links.
3. Analytics
Plausible Analytics is cookieless and EU-hosted. It counts page views in aggregate, sets no cookies and collects no personal data, so no consent banner is required.
4. Managing cookies
Every cookie listed above is strictly necessary: blocking them means you cannot sign in. Your browser settings let you delete cookies for this site at any time, which signs you out.
