For developers and agents
Any page as Markdown, any file at a link
Add an ending to a short link and get its page as Markdown, text, JSON or a PDF. Put a file on the web with one curl. The same from the REST API and the MCP server.
What you get
For developers
Pages for agents
The article as Markdown, the page's facts and citations as JSON, its tables as CSV.
Files in one request
curl -T answers with a short link that converts on demand.
Fast
No browser in the request path; saved copies fill in seconds later.
MCP
save_page, drop_file and the link tools for any assistant.
In code
# Any page as Markdown (the first request saves it) curl https://snip.link/<code>.md # The page's facts, words and citations as JSON curl https://snip.link/<code>.json # Any file on the web curl -T report.pdf https://snip.link
Questions
Questions developers ask.
Do I need a key?
Not for public links' formats or for curl -T. An API key puts what you make in your account and lifts the limits.
How fast is it?
Creating a link answers in milliseconds; a saved copy fills in a few seconds later, and wait: true holds the answer until it is ready.
Is there an OpenAPI spec?
Yes, at https://snip.link/openapi.json, and an llms.txt at https://snip.link/llms.txt.
Is there a rate limit?
Per key: 2 requests a second on Free, 10 on Pro. Past it, the answer says when to try again (Retry-After).
