Free for app makers

One QR code for the App Store and Google Play

Paste your App Store and Google Play pages once and get a short link that opens the right store on every phone, and your website everywhere else. Free, with scans by device.

How it works

One code on the poster, the right store on every phone.

  1. 01

Paste your store pages. The App Store page, the Google Play page, or both, and the web page for laptops. The list shows where each scan will land.

  2. 02

Make the link. A free account keeps it yours: swap a store page, point it at a launch page until the app is live, see scans by device.

  3. 03

Print the code once. Posters, packaging, table tents, a slide at the end of a talk. Download it as a PNG, an SVG or a PDF at the size you need.

Questions

About app links.

What happens when someone scans it?

An iPhone or iPad opens your App Store page, an Android phone opens your Google Play page, and a laptop or anything else opens the web page you gave (or your App Store listing if you gave none). One code on the poster, the right store every time.

Is it free?

Yes. Rules by operating system are free on every Snip.link plan; it needs a free account so the link is yours to change and to see its scans by device.

Can I change the stores later?

Yes. It is an ordinary Snip.link link with two rules: change either store page, the web page, or the ending from your dashboard, and every printed code follows. A code printed before launch can point at a landing page until the app is live.

Does it open the app if it is already installed?

The link opens the store page, which is where the stores send people to open or update an installed app. Deep links into a screen of your app need the app's own universal link or app link, which you can set as the destination instead.
