Make a QR code

Do Snip QR codes really never expire?

Yes. A code is a picture of its content; nothing in it depends on a subscription. A code that opens a short link keeps working as long as the link does, and links are never deleted when a plan changes.

Is it free?

Yes. Codes are free and unlimited with no account. A free account adds changing a code's destination and 30 days of scan analytics; Pro extends the analytics to a year.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic code?

A static code holds the content itself (a Wi-Fi password, a contact) and cannot change. A dynamic code opens a short link, so you can change where it goes and count scans. Snip makes both; see the guide.

Can I use my own logo?

Yes. Upload a picture or pick a built-in icon or emoji for the centre. The code is made with high error correction so the logo does not stop it scanning.

Which file should I print?

SVG for anything a printer makes, because it scales to any size without blur. PNG for slides, documents and the web. PDF when you want the frame and the call to action on the page.

Are there ads or watermarks?

No. No ad page before the destination, no logo on the code, no watermark on the download, on any plan.
